About

A whiteboard built for one thing: thinking with a pen

InfinitiCanvas is an independent Windows app made for people who explain and think by writing. It started as a teaching tool and still does that best, and it does one thing well — give you a fast, endless board for your pen — while leaving out the accounts, cloud sync and collaboration layers that get in the way of one person at work.

Who it is for

InfinitiCanvas was built for maths and physics teachers and online tutors teaching through a screen share in Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, or on a classroom projector. The same needs — room for long working, clean diagrams and a board that never lags behind the pen — are shared by students taking STEM notes, creators recording explainers and streams, people sketching and wireframing, and professionals explaining ideas on calls. See all use cases.

Most people use it with a Surface Pen, a Wacom, Huion or XP-Pen tablet, or a touchscreen 2-in-1 laptop.

Principles

  • Pen first. Every tool is reachable with one key so the pen never leaves the board.
  • Offline first. No account, no cloud sync, no telemetry. Lessons are files on your own computer, and licence keys are verified on the device, so a server outage can never lock you out.
  • Small and predictable. Features are added when teachers ask for them and kept deliberately narrow — for example, shape recognition handles only the five shapes teachers actually draw.
  • Honest pricing. Pay once, keep it, get updates. No fake countdowns.

Privacy in plain terms

The app does not upload your drawings or track how you use it. On first launch an optional welcome form asks for your name and email so the developer can send product news and support; you can skip it, and it is never asked again. The marketing website uses analytics as described in the privacy policy.

How it is built

InfinitiCanvas is a native desktop app with a layered canvas renderer: backgrounds and pasted images live on one layer and ink on another, which is why the eraser can remove strokes without damaging images. Shape recognition uses Ramer–Douglas–Peucker simplification to count a sketch's corners, and palm rejection works at the pointer level so the pen always wins over a resting hand.
