InfinitiCanvas keyboard shortcuts

Single-key shortcuts let you switch tools with your free hand while the pen stays on the board. Here is every shortcut in InfinitiCanvas 1.4.0. Shortcuts are ignored while you are typing in a text box.

A shortcut setup that works for most teachers

  1. Keep P (pen), E (eraser) and V (select) under your free hand; they cover most of a lesson.
  2. Use 1–4 to jump between a fine line for working and a bold line for final answers.
  3. Hold Space to pan instead of switching to the pan tool, so you never lose your current pen.
  4. On a Wacom, Huion or XP-Pen tablet, assign express keys to Ctrl+Z, E, P and Space in the tablet driver. See drawing tablet setup.

Common questions

Can I change the keyboard shortcuts?

Not inside the app in version 1.4.0. Most teachers remap them on the hardware side instead, by assigning tablet express keys or pen buttons to the existing keys in the Wacom, Huion or XP-Pen driver.

How do I pan without leaving the pen tool?

Hold the Space bar and drag, use the middle mouse button, or swipe on a trackpad. On a mouse, Shift+scroll pans horizontally.

Is there a shortcut to export a PNG?

Export is a single toolbar button rather than a key, so it cannot be triggered by accident mid-lesson.
