What offline means here
Your strokes, pages, images, palette and view are saved locally. The app does not upload boards or send usage telemetry, and it does not require an internet connection during normal use after activation.
You still need internet to download the installer, complete a purchase, receive a license key, and use any separate video-meeting platform.
Reliability without cloud dependency
Auto-save records each stroke within a short interval so the lesson can return after an accidental close or restart. Native .infiniticanvas files keep editable lessons on your own storage; PNG export creates a widely shareable image.
A deliberate trade-off
InfinitiCanvas is not a collaborative cloud workspace. It does not offer a shared live board, browser access for students, or automatic synchronization between teachers. That makes it a strong fit for solo instructors who value control and a poor fit for classes that require simultaneous editing.
