Teach from real questions

Paste the exam question. Work it out on top.

Grab any question, graph or diagram with Win+Shift+S, press Ctrl+V, and it lands on the board ready to annotate. Highlight the key phrase, circle the roots, write the method beside it — and the eraser will only ever remove your ink.

Step by step

  1. Press Win+Shift+S (Windows Snipping Tool) and drag around the question, or copy any image to the clipboard.
  2. Click into InfinitiCanvas and press Ctrl+V. The image drops into the centre of your view.
  3. Press V to select it: drag to move, pull a corner to resize (hold Shift for free aspect ratio), Delete to remove.
  4. Switch to the pen (P), highlighter (H) or ballpoint (B) and annotate.
  5. Lasso the image together with your notes to move them as one group.

Why the eraser matters

InfinitiCanvas keeps images and ink on separate layers. The eraser cuts ink only, so you can erase a wrong step written over a diagram without damaging the diagram. Remove an image deliberately with the Select tool and Delete.

Ideas for lessons

  • Past-paper questions for exam technique, with the mark scheme pasted beside them after students attempt it.
  • A student's photographed working, pasted and marked live with them.
  • A graph from a graphing calculator, annotated with intercepts and turning points.
  • A textbook diagram as the starting point for a physics or biology explanation.
  • Several images side by side to compare methods or sources.

Pasted images are saved with your session and project files and included in PNG exports.

Common questions

Can I paste a PDF page?

Will erasing my notes delete the image underneath?

No. The eraser removes pen strokes only. Images are removed only with the Select tool and Delete.
