How to share InfinitiCanvas in Google Meet
- Open InfinitiCanvas and your prepared lesson.
- In Google Meet, click Share screen (Present now) in the bottom bar.
- Choose Window and select InfinitiCanvas, then click Share.
- Write with your pen. Students see the board in Meet.
- Click Stop presenting to finish.
Students only need Google Meet — no accounts, links or extra apps. The board is drawn on your computer, so it stays responsive however slow a student's connection is.
Before the lesson
- Prepare pages in advance. Add a page per stage (warm-up, worked example, practice) and paste questions with Win+Shift+S and Ctrl+V. Save it as a
.infiniticanvasproject (Ctrl+S). - Use thicker strokes. Video compression softens fine lines. Thickness 2 or 3 (keys
2,3) reads far better than the thinnest pen on a student's phone. - Pick a high-contrast background. Bright ink on the dark board or dark ink on a light board both survive compression; avoid pale yellow on white.
- Use two screens if you can. Keep InfinitiCanvas on one display and the participant view and chat on the other.
Tips specific to Google Meet
- Meet runs in your browser, so keep InfinitiCanvas and the browser on separate monitors if you have two, or snap them side by side.
- Choose Window rather than a Chrome tab: InfinitiCanvas is a desktop app, not a web page.
- Attach the exported PNG to the Google Classroom post for the lesson.
- If your Wi-Fi drops, InfinitiCanvas keeps working offline; rejoin Meet and present the window again.
After the lesson
Export each page as a PNG with one click and attach it to the chat, an email, your LMS or Google Classroom, so students keep a clean copy of exactly what was written. The project file stays on your computer for next year's class.
