For physics teachers and tutors

Draw the diagram, then do the physics — on one endless board

Physics explanations are half diagram, half algebra. InfinitiCanvas gives you a straight edge for forces and rays, angle snapping for vectors, clean shapes for circuits, graph paper for motion graphs and room to resolve every component without erasing the diagram you need.

Tools that match physics diagrams

  • Free-body diagrams. Use the straight-line tool (L) for force arrows and hold Shift to lock them to 0°, 45° or 90°. Rotate the virtual ruler (R) to the angle of an incline and draw the surface and the components parallel and perpendicular to it.
  • Vectors and components. Colour-code each force (weight in red, normal in blue, friction in green) and keep the same colours in the equations so students can trace every term back to the diagram.
  • Circuits. Turn on shape recognition and sketch rectangles for resistors and circles for meters or lamps; they snap into clean shapes. Connect them with the line tool.
  • Motion graphs. Switch to the grid template (G) for displacement–time and velocity–time graphs, and use the highlighter to shade the area under a curve.
  • Optics and waves. Ray diagrams need exact straight lines through a focal point: put the ruler through the point and draw along its edge.

Structure a physics lesson across pages

  1. Page 1 — Recall: paste last lesson's exported board or a quick starter question.
  2. Page 2 — Model: the diagram and derivation, using as much canvas as the problem needs.
  3. Page 3 — Exam question: paste the question with Win+Shift+S and Ctrl+V and annotate it with the class.
  4. Export each page as a PNG for students' notes.

Works the way you already teach

InfinitiCanvas runs on the Windows laptop or tablet you already have, with a Surface Pen, a Wacom/Huion/XP-Pen tablet or a touchscreen 2-in-1. Share its window in Zoom, Teams or Meet, or put it on the classroom projector. It works offline, so a dropped school Wi-Fi connection never takes the board with it.

Common questions

Can I draw forces at exact angles?

Yes. Hold Shift with the line tool to snap to 0, 45 or 90 degrees, or rotate the virtual ruler to any angle and draw along its edge.

Does InfinitiCanvas have circuit symbols?

There is no symbol library. Teachers sketch components and use shape recognition to clean up rectangles and circles, which keeps the board fast and handwritten.

Can I plot graphs?

You draw graphs by hand on the grid template; InfinitiCanvas does not plot functions from equations. For exact plots, paste a screenshot from a graphing tool and annotate it.
