Low-fidelity wireframes at the speed of a pen

The first version of a screen should take minutes, not an afternoon in a design tool. Turn on a Mobile 9:16, Tablet 4:3 or Desktop 16:9 frame, sketch boxes that snap square, and export a PNG to share the idea.

How to wireframe in InfinitiCanvas

  1. Open the canvas-mode menu and choose Mobile 9:16, Tablet 4:3 or Desktop 16:9. A labelled frame (for example 1080 × 1920) appears on the canvas as a guide.
  2. Switch on shape recognition (M for the More tools toolbar) and draw boxes for headers, images, cards and buttons; they straighten when you lift the pen.
  3. Use the line tool (L, Shift to snap) for dividers and the classic crossed-box image placeholder.
  4. Add typed labels (T) for button text and headings, and annotate flows with a second colour.
  5. Put each screen on its own page, or lay a whole flow out side by side on one page.
  6. Export a PNG to drop into a ticket, a doc or a chat thread.

When hand-drawn wireframes are the right call

Early in a project, rough sketches keep the conversation on structure and flow rather than colours and fonts. They are quick to throw away, easy to explain on a call, and nobody mistakes them for a finished design.

What it is not

InfinitiCanvas has no components, design tokens, prototyping links or collaboration. When an idea is settled, move it into your design tool; use InfinitiCanvas for the minutes before that.

Common questions

Does the frame limit where I can draw?

No. The frame is a visual guide on the infinite canvas; you can annotate around it.

Can I export just one screen?

Export creates a PNG of the current page cropped to its content, so put each screen on its own page to export them individually.
