Good for
- Thumbnails and concept roughs before you open a full illustration app.
- Storyboards. One page per scene, or a row of frames across the infinite canvas.
- Doodling and practice — gesture drawing, shapes, lettering drills.
- Diagrams and visual notes with clean shapes and straight lines.
- Quick mark-ups on a pasted photo or reference image.
Tools that help
- Pencil (
N) with a graphite-grain texture; pen (P) for clean line; highlighter (H) for flat translucent tone. - Lasso select to move, scale, rotate or recolour any part of a sketch.
- Shape recognition for clean circles, ovals, rectangles and triangles; the ruler for perspective lines.
- Dot or grid templates as construction guides that never print into your strokes.
- Light or dark paper and an editable colour palette.
- PNG export at twice screen resolution, cropped to your drawing.
What it is not
InfinitiCanvas is a sketchpad, not a painting program. Strokes have a consistent width instead of pressure sensitivity, and there are no layers, brushes, blending or vector export. For finished illustration use a dedicated art app; use InfinitiCanvas for the fast first ideas.
Common questions
Does InfinitiCanvas support pen pressure?
No. Strokes use a fixed thickness set with keys 1 to 4. This keeps lines predictable for diagrams and handwriting, but it is not designed for expressive pressure-based drawing.
Does it work with Wacom, Huion and XP-Pen tablets?
Yes, along with Surface Pen and active pens on touchscreen 2-in-1 laptops.
