For students

Room to work every problem out, all the way down

Maths, physics, chemistry and engineering are learned by writing things out. InfinitiCanvas gives you an endless page for your pen on a Windows laptop or tablet — lined or graph paper, a ruler, a highlighter and a board that saves every stroke automatically.

What students use it for

  • Working problems. Long derivations, proofs and multi-step calculations without running out of page. Pan sideways to keep the method and the answer in view together.
  • Class and lecture notes. Paste a slide or textbook figure with Win+Shift+S and Ctrl+V, then annotate around it.
  • Revision sheets. One page per topic, colour-coded, with the key diagram in the middle. Export each as a PNG to print or keep on your phone.
  • Graphs and diagrams. Switch on the grid template (G) and use the ruler (R) or line tool (L) for axes, vectors and circuits.
  • Online classes and study groups. Share the window in Zoom, Teams or Meet to show a friend how you solved something.

Built for the way you study

  • Paper-style backgrounds. White, beige, light blue, light yellow or a dark board, with blank, ruled, grid or dot templates.
  • Pens that feel right. Pen, pencil, ballpoint and highlighter, with four thicknesses on keys 1–4 and your own colour palette.
  • Organised by page. Add a page per topic or question and rename the tab by double-clicking it.
  • Never lose work. Every stroke auto-saves; save each subject as a .infiniticanvas file in any folder, including one your cloud drive already syncs.
  • No distractions, no account. Nothing to sign in to, no notifications, and it works with no internet connection at all — in the library, on a train or during an exam-season Wi-Fi outage.

What you need

A Windows 10 or 11 laptop or tablet with a pen works best: a Surface, a touchscreen 2-in-1 with an active pen, or a small Wacom, Huion or XP-Pen tablet. A mouse works for diagrams, but handwriting needs a pen.

Good to know before you start

InfinitiCanvas is a single-user Windows app: there is no real-time collaboration, no cloud sync, no handwriting-to-text and no PDF import yet. Handwritten notes are images, so they are not searchable by text. If you mostly type notes or need to search them, a typed notes app suits that better; InfinitiCanvas is for the notes you need to write and draw.

Common questions

Is there a student discount?

The price is the same for everyone: a 14-day free trial, then $20 one-time with all future updates. There is no subscription to keep paying while you study.

Can I annotate lecture slides or PDFs?

Paste screenshots of slides or PDF pages (Win+Shift+S, then Ctrl+V) and write around and over them. Direct PDF import is not available yet.

Can I use it on my phone or iPad?

No. InfinitiCanvas is a Windows 10/11 app. Mac and Linux versions are in progress.

Can I move notes between my laptop and desktop?

Yes. Save the .infiniticanvas file into a folder that syncs between your computers, or copy it across. One licence covers up to three of your own computers.
